Indeed. There were many ways to write this article; choosing Lefty's blog as a unifying theme is disappointing.

Ditto. Lefty is not exactly a neutral party, as an outspoken critic of the Free Software Foundation. This time, he leaves legal reality behind to push his agenda.

I don't think he is leaving legal reality behind. Well, maybe he is, because I think there are far easier examples to show that FSF might not be correct here (IANAL).

Perhaps you can provide some specific details on how I've "left legal reality behind". Armijn doesn't seem to agree with you on this...

I'm wondering whether this is the same "Xav" who made a public issue of the email client I happened to be using to post to the foundation-list a week or so ago. You'd seem to show a similar inclination to deal with minutiae rather that issues.
