10 Questions with Auke Kok Posted Jul 8, 2003 17:12 UTC (Tue) by erat (guest, #21) [Link] Multiply building/deploying a Linux distro by the number of machines being managed andI'll guess that running RPM is less resource intensive, even if it must be run "a lot". It's a lot easier to install software than it is to wipe a machine clean and start over from scratch with a new distro.
