Package description:
  GnuPG is a complete and free replacement for PGP.
  Gzip is a compression utility.


Problem description:
  GnuPG and gzip has both had their minor issues.  GnuPG had an issue
  with GPG key validation in rare cases and one of the utilies in the
  gzip package had an unchecked /tmp race.


Action:
  We recommend that all systems with this package installed be upgraded.
  Please note that if you do not need the functionality provided by this
  package, you may want to remove it from your system.
