Canonical Goes It Alone with Unity

Whether or not it's an "upstream" bug isn't really quite the point; having a distro-specific bug allows you to track the progress of that bug within the distribution and talk about when the fix was released for Fedora.

You wouldn't want to be doing this across the board, but to complain that someone has tested your distro for a bug and then filed it when they found it seems to be extremely bad manners to my mind.
