Interesting article, Zonker, thanks for the insights. I especially appreciated the points about friction between community and corporate branding.
A quibble, though: I expected to see something about the Linux kernel. Instead your article was about free software in general, though there are many interesting things to say about Linux itself. Perhaps a more appropriate title for this article would have been "Free software and branding", or something like that.
