Version 0.8.1 of SBCL has been released. This version provides additional
checks to types and lambda lists, improved ANSI compliance, additional
methods for STREAM-READ-SEQUENCE and STREAM-WRITE-SEQUENCE, a contributed
module implementing COMPILER-LET and MACROEXPAND-ALL, several bug fixes and
other changes.
SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation originally
forked from CMUCL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on
maintainability. SBCL runs under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Tru64 on x86,
Alpha, MIPS, PPC and SPARC CPUs.
