"There are legal processes that you want to re-use and leverage as well."And using legal processes nailed down by Microsoft, which is famously punctilious in its compliance with the law and has never been known to appropriate code belonging to other people... what could possibly go wrong? It's like using a cuddly (wild rottweiler) puppy as your legal mascot.
