Attention all lovers of arid landscapes:

Sabayon 2.29.91 "Drainage and the Desert" has been released.

This version has a large number of fixes due to such Free Software lovers
as Warren Togami, Luca Falavigna and Mario Blättermann, as well as a fantastic
supporting cast of hardworking translators.  Sabayon is more stable, and now
implements proper permissions handling.

All the cool kids are using it, why aren't you?

  Fixes:

    * Help file docbook tags patch thanks to Mario Blättermann
    * Manpages patch thanks to Luca Falavigna of the Debian project
    * Fix Bug #321450: allow multiple LDAP uri's to be specified.
    * Changes window now distinguishes between files, dirs, and links
    * Documentation fixes.
    * Fix Bug #608697: sabayon-debug-log.conf does not exist, but sabayon
      thinks it does
    * Remove hard-coded gconf source strings, add gconf sources to config.py.in
      for easier customization/patching by distros
    * Always clean up the gconf source trees
    * xinitrc file cleaned up.
    * Added file/directory permission handling.
    * Gracefully handle gconfd shutdowns in sabayon-apply
    * Fix Bug #608720: Make Details pane less confusing with sorting
    * Fix Bug #607030: depend on Python 2.6
    * Fix Bug #610488: Patches to admin tools to properly wait for usermod
      changes to apply.
    * Fix Bug #610736: Create firefox profile during sabayon-apply if it
      doesn't already exist.

  Notes:

    * Thanks to Luca Falavigna of the Debian project, we now have a working
      Sabayon in Debian again.
    * Thanks to Warren Togami of the Fedora project for a lot of work in this
      release.  He's being added to AUTHORS.
