Hello,
With the release of Cairo 1.8.10 a long awaited required bugfix landed
to make Byzanz useful again, so here it is:
Byzanz is a screen recorder for your desktop. It can record to GIF
Image, Ogg Theora video and others.

New in this release:
- Allow recording audio with Theora video.
- Add an internal debugging format
- Add a byzanz-playback application for playback of the debugging format.
- Cache recording on disk. Slow encoders will not consume all memory anymore.
Note that a previous 0.2.0 release was made, but it required
unreleased versions of software to run, so you will likely have
forgotten about it.
Cheers,
Benjamin
