Hi!
This isn't a press release, but part of a release announcement (that
was posted to maria-discuss@lists.launchpad.net). We're proud of our
very first GA release of MariaDB, and would appreciate users,
developers, testers, dabblers, and more to come try it out. We're open
to feedback, we're completely open source (some may argue more open
than MySQL), and we want to make a more rocking open source database.
Would this be appropriate for the LWN community? If you noticed, we've
not provided Windows binaries - currently our focus is largely on the
Unixes.
I'll be happy to answer any of your questions.
Cheers,
-c
