LCA: How to destroy your community

I had the honour of working with Josh on the OOo team for a long time, and kicking off a whole bunch of initiatives, and seeing them crushed one by one by Sun. After Sun started pressuring my employer at the time (a large sun reseller partner) to get me to dance to their tune in the Open Office community, I stopped contributing to Open Office, and shortly after, open source all together.

Josh is right on all counts.
