Having dealt with various pieces of the gnome stack, I hope there is going to be a focus on going back to existing things and fix their performance and footprint, and maybe quality where needed.
Sometimes GNOME (and to be fair, others have this too) gives me the feeling that they rather chase the next feature than finishing the current one properly. It's very understandable from a human angle, but maybe a bit of focus on performance and footprint will do wonders....
