I'm pleased to announce the 10.16.9 release of xf86-video-vmware. This
is mostly a bugfix release, in particular it fixes

(Crash with xserver >= 1.7)

and should fix

http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14208
(Crash on RENDER composite operations with solid or gradient source
picture).
