It's amazing how many people have negative opinions on what other people
are doing, yet are doing so little / nothing themselves.

Creators have little time to bicker.

He'll come around once he sees that the distro he represents will be left behind if he doesn't.
Or someone else will step in if he proves to be too stubborn.

Considering that no distribution seems to be including Chromium for the same set of problems, you are just engaged in wishful thinking. Upstream is well aware of these problems and tracking these issues.
