very interesting this SamyGo project. this could bring some interesting new features on a fairly open platform. i hope the same could happen for LG too.

i have a tv set made by LG 42LH4000 and i found that i can get a boot loader prompt if i press the ESC button on the serial port (using minicom) during power up..
when i have mstar# i can give lots of commands, for example i can make more verbose the tv set with "silent nothing" and at next reboot see the kernel dmesg.

i'm looking to put in place a community like the samsung one. if there's people interested let's try to do something together!
