I'm curious, is it possible to reuse infrastructure used for Buffer Objects in kernel memory managers used by video drivers?
It seems, that V2L2 and video drivers have a lot of duplicate functionality.

I had the exact same question in mind. But I don't know if USB webcams can DMA into video memory ?
