Sound mind and body?

I contend it is quite impossible to work on any OS kernel of any size and still be of sound mind due to unceasing complexity overload. I also contend it is quite impossible to develop software of any meaningful complexity without regular tea, coffee or Mountain Dew transfusions when the percentage of blood in the caffeine stream is too great. Surely, m'lord, it is clear from this that no programmer of such obvious and considerable talent could be either sound in mind or body.
