As part of Mozilla's ongoing stability and security update process,  
Firefox 3.5.5 is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux as a free  
download from http://firefox.com/.

We strongly recommend that all Firefox users upgrade to this latest  
release. If you already have Firefox 3.5, you will receive an  
automated update notification within 24 to 48 hours. This update can  
also be applied manually by selecting "Check for Updates..." from the  
Help menu.

3.5.5 seems to have fixed a frequent crashing bug with about 100 tabs open, and this IFRAME pop-out bug with 100 tabs: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263160 - or at least made these very infrequent.

It's practical to *use* FF with 100 tabs? I occasionally get up as far as 23 or so, and it kinda dogs out on me at *that* level...

I can rarely cull my tab list down anywhere near 20, and tend to regret doing so if I manage it. My normal usage is around 50-ish, but that can easily double for a short while - maybe even triple on occasion.

So, in answer to your question, yes it is :P.
