You have one too many "they" in the article:

Prompt patching of bugs requires they they be identified and repaired as quickly as possible
PS: what is the best way to report grammar errors/typos? Should I add them as comments? Or send an email? Or should I not bother at all?

I have to wonder what the actual ratio corrections via email vs comments is for LWN?

We don't track it, but we get a lot more email corrections than posted ones.
