I'm happily using Jaunty as the base for the eeebuntu version in my eeePC without any problems (everything works), but my home desktop machine is still running 8.04 (Hardy).
Had lot's of problems when I tried it on my fully intel desktop, either Gnome or KDE based. From those sudden lockups to suspend not resuming (I usually suspend instead of shutting down).
I thought it was the problem with the new X version in conjunction with the new intel graphics drivers, but it seems it's a bit more profound than that.
Let's see how 9.10 will turn out. At work I still use 8.04 because of it's stability, but at home I would prefer a more "up to date" OS. But I also want a stable OS, as I do WORK on my home PC (8.10 wasn't so bad, but still not stable enough).
