LWN-

I'd like to formally announce my new company, Callident, to the LWN
community. Callident is a team of Linux professionals dedicated to high
performance computing on Linux clusters. Our first product, Callident
Rx, automates cluster installation, includes all the HPC software a
cluster enthusiast needs, and will be available free of charge.

Our second product, BioBrew, is an open source Linux cluster
distribution that is enhanced for bioinformaticists and life
scientists. BioBrew includes all of Rx and contains the NCBI toolkit,
BLAST, mpiBLAST, HMMER, ClustalW, GROMACS, WISE, and EMBOSS, and also
will be available free of charge.

Our official launch of these and other products will be this month at
ClusterWorld, June 24th-26th in San Jose. I'll be giving a talk on
BioBrew and we'll have several Rx clusters in the Promicro booth,
including Xeon, Itanium2, and Opteron platforms. Please drop by if
you're in the neighborhood and contact me if you'd like a free pass to
get into the exhibit hall.

Callident and Promicro will be hosting a free online presentation
entitled "Transforming Life Sciences: The Linux Cluster Revolution”,
this Thursday, June 12th. All are invited to attend via the web and
learn more about Callident's cluster software solutions. To register
for the presentation, please contact Michelle Hagen at Promicro,
mhagen@promicro.com.

Wouldn't you want to ensure you had a website out before you sent out the press releases? (www.callident.com and just callident.com lead to ugly "I've been registered recently" pages at Regsiter.com --- complete and replete with pop-up ads :(.

Since I'm local to San Jose, I'll go to see what they're offering. I wonder what Rx offers over Kickstart or FAI
