[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.7.0.901

First snapshot/release candidate for server 1.7.1. If you want to get any
larger changes in (e.g. the alpha patches), please nominate them by Friday
so we can expose them to a bit of wider testing.

At this point a reminder to everyone who's interested in helping with stable
1.7 updates - set your git repositories to the server-1.7-nominate branch so
you can catch potential breakages early.

The fixes in this release include a few build fixes and fixes to more severe
bugs (potential memory corruption and infinite loops). Nothing to fill the
front pages though.
