Not only do they not include the non-free software, they also make it impossible to use the non-free software. However, they're entirely happy to let you use non-free software out of the box, as long as it's in an eeprom instead. They're even running non-free software by default in the kernel when they execute ACPI methods. I honestly just don't understand how these distributions do anything other than encourage vendors to move their non-free software to somewhere where it's more difficult for us to replace it.
