Stable kernel 2.6.31.3

The 2.6.31.3 stable kernel update has been released; this is a single-fix update. "There was a bug in the tty layer that a number of users were hitting in 2.6.31.2, so everyone should upgrade."

Maybe that is why I saw no rpm for kernel 2.6.31.2. I hope a package for this is available soon.

It looks like there's a bug in the tty layer in 2.6.31.* which breaks X several times a day (for me and others, possibly only when using the kbd driver?), apparently introduced by the fix which stopped Emacs dropping characters from its compile buffers. (All very provisional so far, other than the existence of the bug that is, which is definite, as repeated frustrated X restarts will testify.)
