gedit 2.28.0 released
gedit 2.28.0 has been released gedit is the official text editor of the GNOME desktop. This is the first release of the new stable series that will be part of GNOME 2.28. This new version features many bugfixes and improvements. For end users the most notable features are the new Quick Open plugin (which allows you to quickly open files from many different locations using partial completion) and improvements to the External Tools plugin (such as per language tools and saving documents before running the tool).
