Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 is out. They have folded a lot of changes into this release, including x86_64 KVM support, FUSE, the XFS filesystem, a number of SystemTap enhancements, and a lot of driver updates; see the release notes for details. For CentOS users: the word is that CentOS 5.4 will be available "in 2-4 weeks or so, when it's ready"
