Thanks for this very nice piece - contains a lot of interesting information. Two questions about SUSE: Is KDE 3.5.x still around, or out this time? And, there was a comment about printing support (kprinter) in KDE 3.5 vs 4.3 a while back - is it actually true that more advanced printing features like duplex are no longer supported from within KDE's printing dialogue?

Duplex is supported.
Test driving pre-releases of Ubuntu and openSUSE Posted Aug 30, 2009 12:48 UTC (Sun) by attitude (guest, #24270) [Link] KDE 3 will not be supported in 11.2 There are no KDE3 packages on installation DVD, except the ones needed for KDE3 apps to run (I think Quanta is the only one actually). There is a community effort though, please check here.
