call for proposals
has gone out for the Open Innovation Awards.
"On 2 October 2009, during the Open World Forum in Paris, twenty companies innovating in the Open Source sector will each have an opportunity to make a 7-minute presentation to Venture Capitalists and major systems integrators to promote their company and projects.
They will also be nominated and compete for the "Open Innovation Awards" that will be awarded by an international jury of experts to the most promising businesses innovating in the Open Source sector, and presented during the closing keynote address, ensuring maximum visibility and media coverage for the awardees.
