Any chance that Debian would harmonize with Ubuntu on how to handle debug
packages? It really sucks that Debian doesn't have debug packages for all the libraries & binaries (on Ubuntu they're built automatically and put to separate repo similarly to what's done on Red Hat).

There is a GSoC student working on that this year.
