Kernel release status
The current development kernel is 2.6.31-rc5, released on July 31.
"Apart from various regression fixes, the diffstat shows a couple of
new drivers (at_hdmac, uc2322, gspca/sn9c20x, ds2782 battery driver), and
some big KMS radeon changes..." Also included was the "flexible
array" infrastructure (see below). See the
full changelog for the details.
The current stable kernel is 2.6.30.4, released (along with 2.6.27.29) on July 30. Both updates contain another long list of important fixes. (Log in to post comments)
