Yes, thanks a lot Val for this information.
If btrfs is to be the standard fs in 2 years, maybe another article about the user side of the story will be useful in time (tools, procedures, changes of philosophy from ext3 for everyday administation...). Or some btrfs user guide exists already? (Could not google any, though)

Heise wrote an article about btrfs in a style like: I got up this morning, formated a btrfs partition, used this command to do that and that command to do this.
