It would have been nice if the linebreaks would have survived.
This way, it's not really readable.

I don't follow you. This renders nicely in my Gecko-based browser.

Oh, it seems that Konqueror (2.2.x) does forget the <pre>
after the <table> ... </table>.
Moving the second one there fixes it here.
