LPC: Kernel/Userspace/User Interfaces Microconference
The Linux Plumbers Conference (LPC) has announced the lineup for the "Kernel/Userspace/User Interfaces"
microconference. Three separate topics will be discussed as part of the microconference: Sarah Sharp will present USB 3.0, Matthew Garrett will look at dynamic power management, and Sukadev Bhattiprolu will cover checkpoint/restart in the kernel. LPC will be held September 23-25 (just after the co-located LinuxCon) in Portland, Oregon. "I am happy to announce that Jim Gettys, one of the original
developers of the X Window System, past VP of Software at OLPC, now
at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, has selected a great lineup from a set
of excellent submissions to the 'Kernel/Userspace/User Interfaces'
microconference.
