Kernel prepatch 2.6.31-rc2

Kernel prepatch 2.6.31-rc2 Posted Jul 5, 2009 21:39 UTC (Sun) by proski (subscriber, #104) [Link] If upgrading from 2.6.30, make sure to enable CONFIG_FSNOTIFY, otherwise CONFIG_INOTIFY_USE will be silently unselected. In Fedora 11, it causes gdm to hang. I suspected the video driver and spent a lot of time bisecting it before I realized it was a simple configuration issue :-(
