ROCOCO SOFTWARE WINS COMMENDATION AT BLUETOOTH CONGRESS

DUBLIN, IRELAND - June 25, 2002 - Rococo Software was commended along with
five other companies at Bluetooth Congress for its efforts to bring
practical and useful Bluetooth applications to market. From the six
companies commended, the Bluetooth SIG awarded VODAFONE SWEDEN and ANOTO
with the Bluetooth Congress Award for demonstrating unique new revenue
opportunities for operators through Bluetooth messaging. Other companies in
the running for the award were 3COM, INVENTEL and TOSHIBA.

"We’re honoured to be ranked alongside Vodafone and Anoto," said Rococo CEO,
Sean O’Sullivan. "It’s always nice to be acknowledged, but receiving a
commendation from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group is particularly
meaningful."

The award was presented at Bluetooth Congress in Amsterdam on June 12. The
Bluetooth Congress Award is presented each year to highlight companies that
have made a significant contribution in the development of the Bluetooth
wireless technology. The award was judged by an independent panel of experts
drawn together by the Informa Telecoms Group.

The judging panel cited Rococo Software’s development tools (Impronto
Simulator and Impronto Developer Kit) along with the company’s pioneering
work on supporting Java APIs for Bluetooth technology as the reasons for
commending Rococo.
