Certainly, an even, high standard of the Python library is more important than to include everything. I do not know which is more important, but I agree there is stuff included with Python which seems relatively mediocre in quality and interface design, for example the "multiprocessing" module. I also think the "library" section is getting crowded considering how little structure it has, like "curses.textpad" grouped with "os", which is separated from "os.path".
