InsideMobile Conference Registration and Call for Papers Now Open--O'Reilly Media Alert
Attn: Business Editors, Feature Editors, and Calendar Editors

Sebastopol, CA--Interested in learning more about the growing mobile industry? Looking for
information on developing for mobile platforms? Wanting a way to get ahead in your field? If so,
the newly announced InsideMobile Conference, co-produced by O'Reilly Media and 360Conferences, on
July 26-27, 2009, in San Jose, CA, is a must-attend event.

InsideMobile will show you how to work with the top mobile platforms available today--all in one
exhilarating, extremely focused conference. Happening right in the middle of the "Summer of the
Smartphone," this conference will teach the basics of developing on major mobile platforms such as
iPhone, Blackberry, Palm webOS, Windows Mobile, and Android.

In addition, you will learn:

- How to develop for the small screen, and how to deal with other mobile platform eccentricities
- Ways to make money with mobile applications
- What it takes to develop for more than one platform at a time
- What tools you'll need to be a successful mobile developer
- The differences among platforms and what makes each one unique

John Wilker, co-founder of 360Conferences with Tom Ortega, says the goal of InsideMobile is
twofold: "We want to give developers an opportunity to get down and dirty with each platform. This
way an attendee can walk away knowing which technology feels better for them. We [also] want to
bring together developers in those spaces for more open-ended conversations that are technology
agnostic. This way you can talk about the general problems and frustrations of the space vs. the
individual technology."

Ortega says that the conference is specifically designed for developers, and provides a perfect
opportunity to network with established mobile developers. "Come to the show to get down and dirty
with mobile. If geek talk gets your blood flowing, sign up."

Attendees will benefit from the insight of developers, entrepreneurs, and mobile industry veterans.
Featured speakers include:

Francisco is a founder and vice-president of strategy at Tonnect, which enables mobile gaming
