Hmmm- I disagree. Let us clarify here. If you write me an email with the words, "DO NOT FORWARD", then it is not DRM. If you write the same email and my email application abides by your words, then it is still not DRM. It *is* DRM if you write the same email with the intent for those words to trigger restriction features in my email application. Even if the work-around is trivial, it is the intent of the copyright holder to enact digital restrictions of recipients that makes DRM.
