Disabling copying of fragments or printing are less controversial flags. What does everybody
think of the flag that disallows saving of a tagged PDF (a form with fields where users can enter
data) with user entry embedded in it? Should a free software program force users to lose what
they entered, if the document publisher chose to enable this flag? I hope not (even though last
time I tried Evince failed to save field values unconditionally).
