Kernel release status
The current 2.6 development kernel is 2.6.30-rc7, released on May 23.
"So go wild. I suspect I'll do an -rc8, but we're definitely getting
closer to release-time - it would be good to get as much testing as
possible, and it should generally be pretty safe to try this all
out." The long-format
changelog has the details.
The current stable 2.6 kernel remains 2.6.29.4; there have been no stable releases over the last week. (Log in to post comments)
