Optimize NFS open() calls by means of 'intents'...

Subject:  [PATCH 4/4] Optimize NFS open() calls by means of 'intents'...
Date:  Fri, 23 May 2003 14:46:12 +0200
Cc:  Linux FSdevel <linux-fsdevel@vger.kernel.org>, Linux Kernel <linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org>, NFS maillist <nfs@lists.sourceforge.net>

Do close-to-open data revalidation inside the i_op->lookup() and
d_op->d_revalidate() routines by using intents to discover whether or
not this is an open().

Implement open(O_EXCL) by means of the i_op->create() intents.

Cheers,
 Trond
