Parent article: Reopening iFolder
I am really surprised, shocked even, that iFolder doesn't do versioning. They don't even mention it in the FAQ. Is there a roadmap somewhere?
The ability to roll backward through time is probably the single biggest feature I would require in such a product. Would I trust it to autosynchronize my files if I couldn't roll back to fix its inevitable mistakes.
Even more important, going back in time is a requirement when collaborating with others. If your coworker can't easily undo your changes, you need to ask permission before making any questionable edits. It bogs the whole process down, making it more painful than collaborating via email attachment.
Is there any chance of versioning being added in the future?

Versioning is a big miss, thanks for mentioning it.
With sufficient cash (NAS) or cleverness, perhaps the filesystem under the WebDAV server could implement the version control? Guess I need to look over the server-side code, if any.
And how could versioning occur on a (disconnected) client, a virtual filesystem on a folder?
