Yes, but you don't, which is why they don't all share one distrowatch page (your apparent measure of "importance").

The author said less important, not unimportant. Get over it.

The author's exact words were "the diminished importance of the distribution [Debian]." "Less important" means roughly the same thing but sounds less sad, I mean who wants to be "diminished" right? Anyway, my point was not that DistroWatch is the best measure of "importance," but that I don't personally see the reduced importance of Debian... What evidence do you have for this view?
