I don't understand why they disabled ctrl-alt-backspace entirely. There's a better way to avoid accidentally killing the X server that wouldn't cause nearly as many complaints.

On Solaris 10, a single ctrl-alt-backspace won't kill X, but three successive ones will. Anyone who wants to kill X is hopefully not going to be bothered by having to hit the key combo a couple more times.

The 3 CTRL-ALT-DEL is a good idea, but Sun likely holds a patent on it :-)
