I feel strongly about ext4 losing data, but I don't have a strong opinion about this issue. Really. Not for lack of sensitivity to the problem -- I've had an administrator at work erase a whole directory of files because of a leading space (so that 'rm -rf /dir/file' became 'rm -rf /dir/ file'). But there are advantages and disadvantages, and I cannot pick a side. Bojan has only posted once, and his message contains the words "not sure". I would say that this debate attracts a different subset of (opinionated) people.
