This is a bug. Linux is for geeks, and not suitable for the common user. Once Linux is suitable for the common user, the above statement becomes false.

Not true. I have some customers who use a Linux desktop that are definitely not geeks.

It also doesn't address (1) a geek sets up the Linux desktop for someone else, as I have done, or (2) it's a corporate Linux desktop, or (3) Netbooks or PCs with Linux pre-installed.
