To make your "Debian Linux" project complete, you should also write a shell script that removes all GNU software from your box.

Why should removal of word "GNU" necessitate the removal of GNU-software as well? It could very well be that someone values the GNU-software, but thinks that using the name GNU/Linux is dumb.

Removing all GNU software from a typical Debian GNU/Linux system might help to demonstrate why GNU/Linux is not such a dumb name after all.
