I'm kind of shocked this made it past the editor. Absolutely! I use Wine on a regular basis to run a few Windows-only programs, and I've been Windows-free (Linux only) for 4 1/2 years now. I am pleased that LWN's editors included this article. Thanks to the Wine developers for your hard work.

I'm a bit surprised that software exists that runs Windows programs flawlessly. The only time I tried using a Windows program recently, it promptly hung the system. Maybe I should have tried using Wine (instead of Vista).
