Parent article: Palm needs Nova to shine (San Francisco Chronicle)

Much as I appreciate that they're using Linux, I've not seen enough of Nova to convince me that Palm has a chance in heck at this late date. But then, I've had trouble believing that Symbian had long-term legs, even when they were paying me for advice. I'd love to see what differentiates Palm's new platform.

Android seems to have a leg up on the others. And I have not given up on OpenMoko's various efforts, although their last software platform seems to have been a false start. OpenMoko gets the "openness" part better than Google does so far.

By the way, "no va" is a terrible name if you consider what it means in Spanish. How'd they miss Chevy's experience?

Oops. I'll have to check out the story of the initial "Got Milk" campaign in Spanish now...

"Nova" is confused with "no va" in Spanish only if you're not a native Spanish speaker.
