Fedora has (in roughly descending order of firehose velocity):

• rawhide
• updates-testing
• updates
• updates --bugfixes --security
• updates --security
• updates --bz 123
• updates pkg-foo

Lack of choice is not the problem, IMNSHO, and thus. more choice is not the solution.
